GUJRANWALA: Traders for resolving problems

By Our Correspondent

GUJRANWALA, July 4: The business community has called upon the administration and government departments to resolve their longstanding problems on priority basis.

At a meeting held here on Sunday presided over by Markazi Anjuman Tajran leader Wahid Iqbal Butt, the participants accused the administration, city tehsil council, income tax, sales tax and property tax departments for their failure in resolving their problems despite repeated memorandums.

The meeting decided that trade organizations and its leaders would inform the heads of government departments about their problems and urged them to resolve these on priority basis.

Later, all heads of the trade organizations called on by the DCO, police, income tax, sales tax, excise and taxation, Wasa, city tehsil council, SNGPL, Gepco and other government functionaries.

The heads of these government departments assured the traders that their genuine problems would be resolved soon after providing them better facilities in accordance with the law.
