SUKKUR: Removal of Baitul Mal official demanded

SUKKUR July 3: The people with insufficient means held a protest demonstration here on Saturday against the in-charge of the Baitul Mall.

Talking to newsmen, they said that the official was not disbursing Zakat due to reasons known to him.

They said they visited the office daily but returned empty- handed.

They alleged that the official often misbehaved with them.

They demanded that he should be dismissed for not serving the recipients of Zakat fund.

NAVAL RECRUITMENT: The registration of civilians in the Pakistan Navy for the post of police constable is starting from July 7.

This was announced by the Pakistan Navy Recruitment and Selection Centre, Sukkur on Saturday.

Candidates having qualification of matric science, arts and technical with 45 per cent marks, aged between 18 to 25 years, height 170 Cm, weight 58 Kg, eye sight 6/6 are eligible to apply.

The examination will be held on July 15.

BANDITS' HIDEOUTS: The police on Friday claimed that they had destroyed several hideouts of bandits in the Shah Belo forest.
