QUETTA: All development schemes to be completed: Jam

QUETTA, July 3: Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Mohammad Yousuf has said that different development schemes and programmes launched in the province will be completed at any cost.
He was speaking at a meeting of provincial secretaries here on Saturday.
Vehemently dispelling rumours about so-called military operation in the province, he said some elements wanted to create a state of uncertainty in the province by spreading such false rumours but said that these elements were doomed to fail.
He directed secretaries and administrative officials to ensure implementation of government policies and improve financial and administrative discipline so that people were provided best possible services and facilities and their problems were resolved promptly.
Mr Yousuf regretted that some people were making mega projects like Gwadar deep seaport and other development schemes launched in the province controversial but they would be completed at any cost so that jobless youths of the province could be given jobs.
The chief minister asked provincial ministers to maintain a better coordination among themselves and their secretaries must implement their decisions so that all departments could work in harmony with each other and like a team.
Referring to development activities the chief minister said that in new financial year funds had been enhanced and all areas had been equally given importance, and maintained that all projects would be started on time and their timely completion would be ensured.
