LANDI KOTAL (Khyber Agency), June 26: Journalists from all the seven tribal agencies held a demonstration in front of the Governor's House in Peshawar on Saturday to protest the restrictions imposed on journalists by the political administration of South Waziristan.

The protest demonstration was organized by the central body of the Tribal Union of Journalists (TUJ).

Addressing the journalists, TUJ president Sailab Mahsud alleged that despite clear-cut orders by the NWFP governor just two weeks back regarding provision of all basic facilities to tribal reporters by the respective political authorities.

The TUJ president alleged that the authorities had imposed restrictions on journalists to hide facts about the operation in and around Wana.
