'Punjab CM's Vision 2020 unrealistic'

By Our Staff Reporter

RAWALPINDI, June 25: The Punjab chief minister's Vision 2020 is unrealistic and has failed to take into account the ground realities and the problems being confronted by the common man.

This was stated by Mrs Saima Bukhari, a Pakistan People's Party Parliamentarian MPA.

Talking to reporters at a ceremony here on Friday, she said the targets set in the Vision 2020 were simply unattainable. She believed that the fate of Vision 2020 would not be much different from that of Program 2010 launched by the PML-N in its last stint in office.

She contended that Vision 2020 showed that how ill-visioned was the chief minister and his team.

Besides, the targets being unrealistic, she said, the chief minister's team is too lethargic for achieving some bigger goal. Supporting her claim that the Vision 2020 is quite departed from reality, she said the chief minister had promised one million jobs every year, which is nothing except a tall claim.
