QUETTA: OGDC's cooperation sought

QUETTA, June 19: Balochistan Minister for Communication and Works Agha Faisal Daud has urged the Oil and Gas Development Corporation to cooperate in promoting the province's mineral sector.

He was speaking during a meeting held under his chairmanship here on Saturday to review different matters pertaining to the promotion of the province's mineral sector besides discussing the release of funds by the federal government in this regard.

"If OGDC is not willing to cooperate with us, then it must allow us to talk to foreign companies in this regard," he urged.

The minister also appealed to mineral department to establish a modern museum in Quetta to create public awareness about Balochistan's mineral wealth.-APP
