KARACHI, June 19: Interim charge-sheet was submitted by Pakistan Bazaar police against Shahid Alam alias Guddu Bihari, Nazim, Orangi Town, in a case of firing at the residence of acting Nazim Mohammad Feroz.

Judicial Magistrate, West, Mohammad Sohail accepting the interim charge-sheet, sent the case for trial to concerned Sessions Court.

According to prosecution, accused Shahid Alam, accompanied by Shamsul Hasan and other absconding accused, came to the residence of complainant Mohammad Yousuf, younger brother of Mohammad Feroz and fired towards gate.

The same court also put off hearing of four different cases against Guddu Bihari.

EXPLOSIVE CASE: Judge Arshad Noor Khan of the ATC on Saturday remanded Zafar Akram in police custody till June 22 in an explosive case.

Police said the accused abetted Zeeshan Ali, who was arrested by police in injured condition while foiling his attempt to attack Orangi Town police station.

According to the police, the accused planned to attack the police station and when Zeeshan came near the gate of the police station with the intention to plant bomb on June 13 but after seeing the police he ran off and the bomb in his bag went off.

They were booked under sections 3 and 4 of the explosives act.-APP/PPI
