KABUL, June 18: The office of the United Nations refugee agency in the southern Afghan city of Kandahar was attacked with rocket-propelled grenades early Friday, but no casualties were reported and only minor damage, the UN said.

"Two or three rocket-propelled grenades were fired at the office at about 3am, but there were no casualties. An investigation is ongoing," UN spokesman Manoel de Almeida e Silva said. No staff were in the office and the damage was minor, he said. -Reuters
