KARACHI, June 15: One more member of the newly surfaced jihadi outfit, Jundullah, was arrested in a raid on Tuesday, a senior police official said.
DIG Investigation Fayyaz Leghari told Dawn on Tuesday night that Shahzad Mukhtar alias Talha, was picked up from a residential complex, Laraib Gardens, in Block-1, Gulshan-i-Iqbal.
The suspect was allegedly a member of the firing squad which ambushed the convoy of the Karachi corps commander on June 10.
Earlier on Sunday, Sindh police chief Syed Kamal Shah had announced the arrest of eight terrorists. According to him, the group consisted of 20 members.
