JI for Sindh governor's removal

By Our Staff Reporter

LAHORE, June 11: Jamaat-i-Islami Secretary-General Syed Munawwar Hasan has demanded the removal of Sindh governor to normalize the situation in Karachi.

In a statement on Friday, he said the MMA would turn Karachi into a citadel of peace through a sustained democratic process.

He alleged that terrorist activities had gone up ever since Pakistan had started playing the role of frontline state.

The JI leader said the US wanted Pakistan's nuclear programme wound up and Kashmir and Afghanistan policy reversed.
