DUBAI, June 10: Qatar said it held talks with Saudi Arabia in France on Thursday over differences between the two energy-rich Gulf Arab states. The discords, which led to an open row in 2002, have blocked the building of a $2 billion gas pipeline.
"The meeting was in the framework of further developing ties and resolving any differences," said Qatari Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim al-Thani. "With our leaderships and their wisdom, we will be able to resolve any possible discord."- Reuters
