ISLAMABAD, June 8: President Gen Pervez Musharraf attended a presentation of the 'course paper' delivered by the participants of the national defence course held at the National Defence College (NDC) here on Tuesday morning.
Speaking on the occasion, the president gave an overview of the international and regional issues and their impact on Pakistani society. The spokesman for the Inter Services Public Relations said the president also spoke of the issues hindering progress and growth, and the country's integration into the global main stream.
"He then gave an overview of the national economy and internal security situation," the spokesman said. Gen Musharraf appreciated the quality and scope of the 'course paper'.
