By Our Staff Correspondent

QUETTA, June 6: At least 30 rockets were fired in Sui and Pat Feeder area of Jaffarabad on Sunday. Two rockets hit the building of the Police Station at RD-238 in Jaffarabad district, destroying a portion of the building. No causality was reported in the rocket attack.

"Yes, the police station was damaged in the rocket attack," Balochistan's Inspector General of Police Chaudhry Yaqoob confirmed. He said the unknown miscreant fired rockets from the other side of the Fat Feeder canal.

The unknown people fired at least 10 rockets in the area. Most of them exploded at the open places. Around 20 rockets were also fired in Sui area in the early hours.

The rockets exploded at brief intervals causing no loss of life and property in the area. Reports suggest that the attackers had targeted the check post of Frontier Corps guarding the Sui gas field. No arrest was reported so far in this connection.
