RAWALPINDI: 3 killed in separate incidents

RAWALPINDI, June 6: Three persons were killed in separate incidents in Rawalpindi and Islamabad on Sunday, police said. In the first incident, Gulber Khan was shot dead by his rivals in his house.

The son of the deceased lodged a complaint with the I-9 police saying that his father was at home when three persons identified as Hazrat Khan, Naseeb Khan and Abdul Ghani, came to his house and opened fire on his father.

The killers then escaped from the scene. The motive behind the murder is said to be old enmity. In another incident, a 50-year-old man was shot dead by some persons in H-9 area.

Mohammad Nadeem, the son of the deceased, told the police that his father Saifur Rehman was coming home after midnight when some persons shot him dead. The body was found from the green area on Sunday morning. Similarly, a security guard at Safari Villas was shot dead by some persons.

BOY KILLED: A boy was killed while his mother injured after being hit by a speeding car on Chaklala Road (Rahimabad railway bridge) on Saturday.
