Four hurt as FC vehicle hits landmine

SUKKUR, June 5: Four Frontier Constabulary personnel were seriously injured when their vehicle ran over a landmine in Lanjoo Sanghari near Sui, Balochistan, on Saturday.

Following the incident, 10 suspected people were taken into custody.

The FC personnel were on their way to supply ice to nearby pickets when their vehicle ran over the landmine.

As a result, the vehicle was completely destroyed and Subedar Mumtaz Ali, Jamadars Nasrullah and Naseer Ahmed and constable Abdullah were seriously injured.

They were shifted to a Quetta hospital in a helicopter.
