PPP will be organized at grassroots level: Faisal
ISLAMABAD, June 3: Interior Minister and Secretary General of Pakistan People's Party Makhdoom Faisal Saleh Hayat said on Thurday that he would organise the PPP at grassroots level.
Talking to journalists at the Parliament House, he said that after the merger of different factions of the PPP the officer-bearers at Centre and provinces had been finalized which would be announced soon.
He said within three months, a party convention would be convened. He claimed that large number of PPP (Patriots) would join the new party. He said the timing for the entry of these MNAs in PPP would be decided at an appropriate time.
To a question, he said: "We will not force any PPPP MNA to change his/her loyalty. He added that some PPPP MNAs were planning to voluntarily join the PPP. -APP
