Visa applicants advised to contact mission

By Our Reporter

ISLAMABAD, May 28: The High Commission of India issued a press release in which it said that several visa applicants had informed them that they were unable to access the high commission's telephone number to ascertain the status of their applications.

"We, therefore, seek to inform them that the applicants who desire to check the status of their applications may write to the Visa Officer, High Commission of India, G-5, Diplomatic Enclave, Islamabad, along with a self-addressed stamped envelope or a postcard," the press release said. "The inquiry might also indicate whether the applicant wishes the passport to be returned by a courier," added the press release.
