Turkish delegation arrives

By Our Staff Reporter

ISLAMABAD, May 26: A Turkish delegation, led by the country's Interior Minister Abdul Kadir Aksu, arrived here on Wednesday on a four-day visit, an Interior Ministry source said.

He said the delegation would meet Interior Minister Syed Faisal Saleh Hayat on Thursday. The two sides would discuss bilateral and international issues as partners in the anti-terrorism war and exchange information with a view to breaking terrorist networks in their countries.

The two sides were likely to sign a pact on exchanging technical expertise and training personnel of law-enforcement agencies, the source said.

The delegation would also visit the offices of the Anti-Narcotics Force, Federal Investigation Agency, National Database Registration Authority, Narcotics Control Division and other allied departments of the Interior Ministry.
