ISLAMABAD, May 26: The chairman of Alliance for the Restoration of Democracy (ARD), Makhdoom Amin Fahim, has convened a meeting of the parliamentary group of the alliance at the Parliament House building on May 31.

The ARD parliamentary secretary, Izhar Amrohvi, told Dawn that the meeting had been convened to finalize the strategy to be adopted during the budget session of the National Assembly.

It may be mentioned that the National Assembly session will be held on May 31 at 5:30pm and Federal Finance Minister Shaukat Aziz will deliver his budget speech on June 5.

Mr Amrohvi said the ARD would also discuss the strategy to highlight the issue of the deportation of PML-N president Shahbaz Sharif and arrests of thousands of the PML-N workers and activists.
