Govt policies have stabilized economy, says Jamali

JEDDAH, May 25: Prime Minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali on Tuesday asked Pakistani expatriates to strive for projecting Pakistan as a country offering tremendous opportunities for foreign investment in a safe and secure environment.

He told a delegation of Pakistanis living in Saudi Arabia that the Government was focused on steering Pakistan on the path to progress as it pursued economic policies and reforms consistently.

"The policies and reforms pursued in the last few years have given economic stability to the country, where foreign investors have vast opportunities for business in a congenial and secure climate," he said.

The prime minister informed the Pakistanis that the government was for trying to ensure development in all parts of the country through mega communication projects, water canals and the multi-million Gwadar deep-sea port. -APP
