HYDERABAD, May 25: A two-member team of the Chinese Academy of Agriculture and Sciences, which is here on a one-week visit to different universities , called on the University of Sindh vice- chancellor on Tuesday to discuss matters of mutual interests.

The Chinese delegation, comprising professors Yang and Li, was accompanied by Dr Mazharul Hussain Naqvi, director of the Nuclear Institute of Agriculture, Tando Jam.

SU vice-chancellor Mazharul Haq Siddiqui, briefing the delegation on the curricular and co-curricular activities, said 16,000 students of the morning, noon and evening batches were enrolled in the 42 institutes and departments of the university while 62 colleges were affiliated with the university.

Later, the team visited the Institute of Sindhology and was apprised of its performance by institute director Shaukat Hussain Shoro.

EXAMS: Sindh University controller of examinations has announced the schedule of postgraduate annual examination 2003. Last date for submission of examination forms for regular candidates in affiliated colleges for MA, MSc, MCom (previous) and Postgraduate Diploma in Public Administration has been fixed as June 10.

Candidates have been advised to obtain examination forms from their colleges and submit the same along with original certificate of last qualifying examination, photocopies of enrolment card, two copies of National Identity Card and four copies of latest passport size photographs.

Moreover, first semester examination for regular candidates and second semester examination for failing and improving candidates of the Institute of Information Technology (evening programme) will commence from June 1. Last date for submission of examination forms has been fixed as May 27 while admit cards will be issued from May 29 to 31.
