ISLAMABAD, May 24: The spiritual leader of Dawoodi Bohra Jamaat, Syedna Mohammad Burhanuddin, called on President Gen Pervez Musharraf at the Aiwan-i-Sadr here on Monday. The president welcomed the Syedna and wished him good health and happiness.

He appreciated the role of the Dawoodi Bohra Jamaat in Pakistan's socio-economic development. The president highlighted the emerging business opportunities in the country and expressed the hope that the community would benefit from them and continue to play its role in the progress of the country.

Syedna Burhanuddin thanked the government and the people of Pakistan for the hospitality extended to him and members of his delegation. He also appreciated the measures taken by the government for the economic revival of the country. Later, the president hosted a dinner in honour of Syedna Burhanuddin and his delegation at the Aiwan-i-Sadr. -APP
