Sami rocks Northants

LONDON, May 23: Mohammad Sami, the Pakistan fast bowler, claimed a match haul of 10 for 138 as Kent were the only winners in the latest round English County Championship matches on Saturday.

Northamptonshire had no answer to Sami as the 23-year-old took six for 99 after the home side were bowled out for 264 in their second innings to lose the Division One fixture by 145 runs.

Former Test leg-spinner Mushtaq Ahmed was another Pakistani to make an impression by scoring 62 as Sussex drew against Warwickshire.
