ISLAMABAD, May 23: Enlightened moderation is the key to globalization while extremism is a barrier to development, said Prof Attaur Rahman, incharge minister for science and technology and chairman Higher Education Commission.

Talking to reporters after the second session of the students convention, Dr Ata said extremism was the worst enemy of humanity and development. Islam is a natural religion and accepts moderation rather than extremism. Development of education will automatically decrease extremism, he said. -APP
