US fails to subdue Iraqis: TNFJ

By Our Reporter

RAWALPINDI, May 22: Tehreek Nafaz-i-Fiqh-i-Jafriya (TNFJ) central information secretary Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi has said the US military, laced with the most modern weapons , is unable to defeat and subdue Iraqis despite utilizing all its energies.

He made these remarks while speaking at "sanctity of Najaf and Karbla conference", organized by Anjuman Faiz-i-Punjtan at Zainul Abideen Academy on Friday.

Mr Zaidi said some powers inside Iraq were playing the role of colonial agents, and were bent upon the desecration of holy cities. He said if any kind of harm was caused to the holy cities, the US and its allies would be held responsible.

The TNFJ leader, while denouncing the abuse of Iraqi prisoners, said the whole world had seen that the ambitions and courage of Iraqi people had not gone down. He called for withdrawal of occupation forces from Kashmir, Palestine, Afghanistan and Iraq.

He said the way to get rid of colonial oppression was hidden in actively following holy Quran and teachings of Hazrat Muhammad (Peace be upon him). "For this purpose, it is necessary to display unity and solidarity in our ranks and become an iron wall against the enemy," he said.
