ISLAMABAD, May 21: A special cell has been set up in the ministry of religious affairs for providing guidance to the general public regarding Haj, Umra and other religious matters.

This cell has been created on directive of the minister for religious affairs, Mohammad Ejazul Haq. The cell comprises of senior officers of the level of joint secretaries who would suggest ways and means to bring improvement in various activities of the ministry.

The cell would consider the proposals/suggestions received from various quarters and the general public with a view to lessening hardships of the masses.

The senior officers of the ministry are regularly holding meetings for the purpose. The suggestions received from general public will be given due consideration by the cell, the ministry spokesman said. -APP
