Three fishermen were shot dead and six others arrested after their boat strayed in the Indian waters on Monday as claimed by Indian navy spokesman.

The patrolling team had escorted away fishing vessel Al- Shahenshah with the bodies and six fishermen, one of them critically wounded Ali Murad. Hanif Katiar, the father of Ali Murad, and others talking to newsmen at the Thatta press club said that the fishermen belonged to Haji Ismail Katiar village of Ghorabari taluko.

They identified killed ones as Saleh, Ali Muhammad and Jafar Abbas. Others were identified as Abrahim, Suleman, Juman, Hassan Usman, Amjad Suleman and Ali Murad. They said they had hired fishing vessel of Hamzo Katiar and had gone to the Kajur Creek in the Pakistan waters.
