ISLAMABAD, May 19: Pakistan and Brunei on Wednesday said they would boost cooperation in the fight against international crimes and have greater collaboration in defence.
The two countries signed three Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) on Combating Terrorism and Transnational Crimes, Consultations and Cooperation between the two Foreign Ministries and Defence Cooperation.
The Sultan of Brunei is on a three-day visit to Pakistan. The two sides expressed satisfaction over their relations and close cooperation in political, economic, defence, commercial and cultural fields.
The joint statement said the two sides agreed to take all necessary measures to contribute towards the international effort in combating transnational crime including terrorism, people smuggling, economic and financial crimes. -APP
