FAISALABAD: ISO rally in Faisalabad

By Our Staff Correspondent

FAISALABAD, May 16: A large number of the Imamia Students Organization activists took out on Sunday a procession to condemn the high incidences of terrorism in the country.

The protesters were carrying banners and placards inscribed with slogans against the incidences of terrorism in Lahore, Karachi and other parts of the country. After marching on different city roads they held a demonstration outside the Katchery Bazar intersection.

Speaking to the participants, ISO leaders alleged that the law enforcement agencies had failed in smashing the network of the terrorists, which had been resulting in killing of innocent people.

They feared that if the government did not take immediate steps to nab the terrorists, there would be anarchy in the country beyond the apprehension of the rulers. They also criticized the US aggression in Iraq and demanded that the international community should raise its voice for the Iraqi Muslims.
