Rashid hopeful about continuation of talks


ISLAMABAD, May 14: Minister for Information Sheikh Rashid Ahmed has expressed the hope that new government in India will continue dialogue with Pakistan.

In an interview with BBC Radio, Sheikh Rashid said: "So far as relations between Pakistan and India are concerned, we are hopeful that peaceful relations will continue. The people of India and Pakistan want good relations and want to solve their problems amicably".

"Hopefully, whoever forms the government in India will continue this process", he added.

The Minister said: "I am hopeful that composite dialogue process will continue and I believe that Congress realizes the atmosphere and environment in the world. We want composite dialogue on all issues, including the Kashmir problem", he added.-APP
