Cyclone loses intensity

KARACHI, May 10: Cyclone 01A has lost its intensity and it will not hit any coastal area of Pakistan, a meteorologists said on Monday.

The meteorological department has forecast rain and thunderstorm in Karachi and heavy rain and thunderstorm in Badin and Thatta.

It said rain would cause a significant drop in the city's temperature, which on Monday was recorded at up to 40 degrees Centigrade. -APP
