KARACHI, May 8: Mrs. Rehana Saigol was unanimously re-elected as the President of Pakistan Bridge Federation (PBF) in the elections held on Friday at Aslam Bridge Hall, National Stadium, PBF announced on Saturday.

All the directors of the PBF reposed full confidence in her leadership.

The elections for the office bearers (Directors PBF) were also held on occasion. PBF is a public limited company and the elections were held according to the rules.

Members were elected unanimously and they would select other office bearers, such as honourary secretary and treasurer in the second phase to be held on May 21.

Those elected PBF Directors were: Messrs Riaz Mahmood, Mohammed Ismail, Rashid-ul-Ghazi, Mirza Shauq Hussain, M.Azwarul Haque and Hasan Sajjad.

Nominees from their affiliated bodies like Karachi Bridge Association. Punjab Bridge Association and Rawalpindi/ Islamabad Bridge Associations are Asghar Naqvi, Irfan Saadat Khan, Ihsan Qadir, Saeed Akhtar and Wg, Cmdr.Wajahat Suri, it concluded. -APP
