MIRPURKHAS, May 8: Earlier, the Mithrao division executive engineer, announcing a water rotation programme in five sub-divisions of irrigation department because of a shortfall of 60 per cent of water supply in the Nara Canal , had said that water will be supplied for drinking only.
According to the plan, in the Sanghar sub-division, the Dilshad waterway of group-I will remain open from May 9 to 17, the Toori and Bugti minors of group-II from May 17 to 25 and the Dhilyar Minor and direct outlets from 0 mile to Kanhar of group- III from May 25 to June 2.
In the Sindhri sub-division, the Palli watercourse and direct outlets from Dahero to Bareji of group-I will remain open from May 8 to 16; the Saifal, Sindhri and Hingorno minors and direct outlets from Kanhar to Dahero of group-II from May 16 to 24 and the Dosu waterway of group-III from May 24 to June 1.
In the Samaro sub-division, the Bhurgari and Lolan watercourses and the Kabool and Gurki minors of group-I will remain open from May 8 to 16; the Samaro waterway, the old and new Sunthi minors and direct outlets from Bareji to Khani of group-II from May 16 to 24 and the Sohrab watercourse, the Chatto and Chach minors and direct outlets from Khani to Darello of group-III from June 1 to 9.
