LANDI KOTAL: Three killed in Khyber Agency

LANDI KOTAL (Khyber Agency), May 8: Three persons were killed and one injured in two different incidents in tehsil Jamrud of Khyber Agency on Friday.

Bullet-ridden bodies of two brothers were found near Takhta Beg check post by the Khasadar force. The killers had left a chit in victims pockets with their addresses.

The deceased belonged to Regi Lalma area in Peshawar, who were identified as Suleiman and Javed sons of Saeedzada. Their bodies were later handed over to their relatives.

In another incident two rival groups fired at each other when they came face to face at Shah Kas resulting in killing of one Latif Zakhakhel and injuring Malang. Their rivals escaped unhurt. The two groups had a long standing property dispute.

Meanwhile, political authorities in Bara have arrested more than a dozen Shalobar and Malik Dinkhel tribesmen under collective responsibility clause of FCR in connection with the abduction of a trader and a sweeper. The authorities have also impounded some 18 vehicles of both the tribes.
