ISLAMABAD May 7: President Gen Pervez Musharraf summoned Balochistan Governor Owais Ahmed Ghani on Friday to discuss law and order situation in the wake of Gwadar incident.

President Musharraf directed the governor to ensure that the investigation into the killing of Chinese engineer in Gwadar was on track and those responsible were brought to book, official sources said.

The governor, who arrived in the morning, left for Quetta in the afternoon. An official handout said the governor briefed the president about the investigations into the Gwadar terrorist act. He informed the president that substantial progress had been made and investigations were on track.
