ISLAMABAD, May 6: The Asian Development Bank (ADB) on Thursday released the first tranche of $100 million for the Sindh Devolved Social Services Programme (DSSP), said bank officials.
The ADB had approved the programme in December 2003 to grant $220 million loan. The plan is aimed at improving literacy rate and people's health in the province to help reduce poverty and gender gap. -APP
