LAHORE, April 30: Trials to select players for the PCB Regional Academies will be held in all the nine regions from May 6 to 12. The academies are to start from mid-May this year.

All the cricket associations have been asked to forward the names of 10 top performers of Inter-district U-19, Inter- regional U-19 and Inter-district senior tournaments. The 1st day of trials will be carried out only for merit based players and next day will be for talent based players.

The players should be U-20. For the talent based players the criteria will be as follows: Standbys/Reserved players of Under-19 regional, Quaid-i-Azam team; who performed well in Patron's trophy (qualifying round); promising fast bowlers, spinners, who had played Inter-district tournaments but not selected for their respective regional team.

Karachi: May 9; May 10; National Stadium, Karachi; Ehtshamuddin, Maazullah Khan.

Multan: May 12; May 13; Multan Stadium, Multan; Sultan Rana, Abdul Raquib.
