KARACHI, April 24: The Board of Intermediate Education, Karachi, has rescheduled a number of papers of the HSC annual examinations. According to the revised schedule, papers of May 3 would now be held on May 21.

Moreover, the papers of May 12, 11, 13 and 10 would now be held on May 22, 24, 25 and 26 respectively, said an official of the board.

The official said changes in dates of examinations had been made in view of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (SAW) holiday falling on May 3 and by-elections of national and provincial assembly scheduled to be held on May 12 in the city.

He clarified that other examinations would be held in the same sequence on dates and time given earlier by the Board. HSC examinations are scheduled to commence on April 28.

BIE chairman Prof Iftikhar H Zaidi said that a separate revised date-sheet shall be issued to centres for information on April 28, said a BIE notification on Saturday.
