BAGHDAD, March 27: Guerillas fired rockets at the city hall building in Mosul on Saturday, killing two people and wounding 13, in another deadly attack on Iraqis working with occupation forces.

Colonel Shamil Ahmad, head of the city hall police department, said a child and two policemen were among the wounded in the Mosul attack.

He said at least three attackers launched two Katyusha rockets, which hit the outer blast walls protecting the building.

Guerilla attacks in Mosul, 390kms north of Baghdad, have killed several people this month. They include four US missionaries shot dead in their car.

Japanese media reported another Iraqi was killed on Saturday in an attack on a truck carrying goods for Japanese troops based in the southern city of Samawa.-Reuters/AFP
