KARACHI, March 27: President of Vietnam Tran Duc Loung has described his visit to Pakistan as 'very successful'. Mr Loung was talking to Governor Dr Ishratul Ibad at Karachi airport before leaving for Hanoi on Saturday.

He said that he was very much impressed with the hospitality he was given during his stay in Pakistan.

He said his meetings with government officials and businessmen were 'very fruitful' and these would help further promote bilateral trade.

Dr Ibad thanked the Vietnamese president for visiting Pakistan, and said that it would help strengthen bilateral relations. Minister Liaquat Ali Jatoi was also present on the occasion.

Mr Loung was presented an album of photographs relating to his engagements during the visit.- APP
