KARACHI, March 27: Sindh Minister for Planing and Development Syed Shoaib Ahmed Bokhari laid the foundation stone of development schemes in Korangi on Saturday.

The schemes include the rehabilitation of sewerage in sectors 33/C, 33/D and 33/F by desilting of the 12-inch diameter sewer, providing substitute for damaged pipes, providing and fixing of RCC ring slabs and manhole covers and the reconstruction of damaged manholes in UC No 7, Korangi, under the MPA Priority Programme proposed by Muhammed Moin Aamir Pirzada.

Speaking on the occasion, the provincial minister said repairs and extension of sewerage lines was accorded the first priority to prevent digging of road after they were carpeted and it would help other development schemes.

Shoaib Bokhari directed officers of the executing agency that the development work be completed in time.

MPA Muhammed Moin Aamir Pirzada said that further development schemes would start in his constituency after the completion of technical/codal formalities very soon.
