KARACHI: Three men die in road accidents

KARACHI, March 27: Three persons were killed in different road accidents on Saturday. Fifty-year-old Ameer was on Saturday crushed to death by a speeding truck (OKB-2890) near the Tipu Sultan traffic signal, police said.

The Ferozabad police registered a case.

The police said that a 65-year old man was on Saturday killed in a road accident near the Habib Bank plaza on I.I. Chundrigar Road. The Mithadar police registered a case about the accident.

They said that a police vehicle hit a motorcycle on Saturday near the Saeedabad Police Training, adding that the rider, 20-year-old Faizan, was killed and the person riding pillion, Zubair, was injured.

INDIAN FISHERMEN: Twelve India fishermen arrested by the Maritime Security Agency on Saturday were handed over to the Dock police.

GIRL SHOT AT: Twenty-five-year-old Jahangir opened fire on a girl, Rabia, in Ittehad Town, Mochko, on Saturday before shooting himself in the chest, police said.

They added that Jahangir was taken to the Civil Hospital and Rabia was taken to the Lyari General Hospital.
