PESHAWAR, March 25: The provincial government has lost the people's confidence because of its poor performance, says leader of the Pakistan People's Party (Sherpao group) MPA Sikandar Hayat Khan Sherpao.

He was speaking at various public meetings in the Charsadda district on Thursday. Criticizing the NWFP government, he said it was making lame excuses to mislead the people on its failure to provide them relief.

He was addressing various gatherings in Charsadda District on Thursday. Mr Sherpao said that the people now knew the true face of the Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal leadership and they could no longer dupe the people.

On this occasion, Haji Khana Gul along with family members and scores of supporters announced joining the PPP (Sherpao group). They reposed confidence in the leadership of the party's chairman, Aftab Ahmad Khan Sherpao, and MPA Sikandar Hayat Khan Sherpao. -APP
