KARACHI: WLB to hold exhibition on April 10

KARACHI, March 25: Sindh Education Minister Irfanullah Marwat has said that educational exhibitions in the country, particularly Sindh, would provide Pakistani students with opportunities of higher learning.

He expressed these views while talking to the World Learning Bureau (WLB) delegation, led by Rashidul Haq, here on Thursday. The delegation informed the minister that Pakistani students would be provided information about major colleges and varsities of the world at the two-day exhibition being organized by the WLB from April 10. The exhibition would help them in future planning.

Irfanullah Marwat said, "Although there is no law and order problem in the entire country, particularly Karachi, special measures would be taken to ensure security of delegations coming from the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Germany, Turkey and other countries to attend the exhibition."

He said that provincial education department and Sindh Text Book Board would also set up stalls at the exhibition in order to inform foreign delegations about new educational projects, curriculum and teaching methods in the country.

The director of World Learning Bureau, Rashidul Haq, briefed in detail the provincial minister about the exhibition and the participating delegations. -PPI
