RAWALPINDI, March 23: A delegation of the Pakistan American Business Association (PABA) led by its honorary chairman, James S. Gilmore, arrived here on Tuesday to attend an international convention.
According to a press release, the convention was being held in Islamabad from March 26-28 in connection with exploring avenues for accelerating industrial and business activities between the US, Pakistan and other countries through cooperation.
Mr Gilmore said the objectives of his visit to Pakistan was to promote trade and commerce between both the countries. Representatives of traders, industrialists and investors from various countries would be apprised of the prospects of promotion of trade and the sectors attracting investment.
The participants would explore the possibilities of investment in various industrial and economic development sectors by holding discussions with experts in these fields, he added.
