Bus service report denied

ISLAMABAD, March 21: A Foreign Office spokesman contradicted a news report published on Sunday suggesting that bus service between Srinagar and Muzaffarabad would begin from Aug 1.

The spokesman said in a statement, "a news report suggesting the proposed bus service between Srinagar and Muzaffarabad would begin from Aug 1, is not factually correct."

According to the news report this was decided at a meeting between the two sides. The spokesman said no such meeting had taken place. He said the "technical level talks will be held between the two sides on April 9 and 10 and then all the decisions will be taken."-APP
