KARACHI, March 19: A mother of three committed suicide in Baghdadi on Friday. Police said that Haroon had left his wife Salma and three children at the home of Salma's parents on Tuesday.
He had got married with another woman a few months ago, which Salma could not tolerate. After some quarrels, Salma asked her husband to drop her and the children to her parent's flat. She remained gloomy for a couple of days. In a fit of depression, she jumped off the apartment and died on the spot. Police shifted the body to a hospital for autopsy and later handed it over to her family.
ACCIDENTS: A man and his wife died after they fell off their motorcycle in North Nazimabad. Police said that Kashif Noor, 35, and his wife Aneela, 28, residents of Malir, were going to Block-L, North Nazimabad on their motorcycle.
The tyre of the motorbike got flat and it skidded. The couple fell on the road and suffered serious head injuries. They were taken to Abbasi Shaheed hospital where they were pronounced dead on arrival.
