Wajahat slams century

LAHORE, March 16: A fine century by skipper Wajahatullah Wasti helped Peshawar earn a 69-runlead on the first innings against Faisalabad in the Quaid-i-Azam Trophy tie at the Iqbal Stadium, Faisalabad on Tuesday.

Wajahatullah scored 107 with 14 fours and one six asPeshawar were all out for 240 in 86.3 overs after resuming at 110-6 in reply to Faisalabad's first innings total of 171.

By close of play, Faisalabad were 140 for one in thesecond innings with skipper Mohammad Ramzan (86 with 15 fours) and Imran Ali (31) at the crease.
