HYDERABAD, March 15: Syed Zain Shah was re-elected chairman of his faction of the Jeay Sindh Mahaz at the three-day congress of the party that concluded in Sann on Monday. The congress approved reports of district chapters and subordinate fronts of the party and structural changes in its constitution.

The selection of the central committee of the JSM-Z were made under the amended constitution which authorizes its chairman to appoint vice chairman and members of the central body.

Similarly, the district, taluka and unit bodies will elect their presidents who will nominate four members of the district, taluka and unit committees. Sufi Huzoor Bukhsh, Faizullah Junejo, Ali Nawaz Butt, Nooruddin Jamali, Mir Mohammad, Manzoor Kalhoro, Dr Ali Ahmed Rind, Mujeeb Machhi, Sardar Bhutto and Dilbar Ujjan were selected members of the central committee.

Later, the congress members visited the grave of G.M. Syed and pledged to continue struggle for the independence of Sindh.
