LAHORE, March 13: Prime Minister Zafarullah Jamali held a meeting with Chief Minister Pervaiz Elahi at the State Guest House here on Saturday. The two leaders discussed political situation in the country, matters concerning the Punjab , specially the development projects and the law and order situation.

The prime minister also visited the residence of Asjad Malhi and offered condolences over the death of his brother Sikandar Hayat Malhi, a former MNA.

Parliamentary Secretary Ali Asjad was also present.

Chief Minister Pervaiz Elahi and the minister for railways accompanied the prime minister.

Mr Jamali also visited the residence of the late Ejaz Batalvi and offered condolences over his death with the bereaved family.
